President/Committee Chairperson Joe Ganci reviewed AGENDA items 2-9.

After discussion, the following tasks were prioritized:

IMMEDIATE

  • IDENTIFY 20-25 POTENTIALLY LARGE DONORS.

      Make plans to solicit these donors for seed money donations of $20,000 - $50,000       

      each noting to these donors that we will be seeking significantly larger donations

      from them in the future This will generate income of at least $300,000 and will

      enable grant writers to demonstrate that we have sufficient funds to meet

      minimum requirements for receiving matching grants.

  • PREPARE A PACKET OF DESCRIPTIVE MATERIALS ABOUT THE FOUNDATION AND PLANS FOR THE ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTER (agenda item 9). This packet is to be shared with prospective donors and will be widely used for publicity purposes and in future presentations and membership drives.

      Responsibility: ENTIRE COMMITTEE WORKING WITH SAM PERKOVICH

 

  • HAVE A RENDITION OF THE FAÇADE OF THE A&E CENTER PREPARED

Responsibility: GLENN GRUBE

 

  • REVISE THE POWER POINT PRESENTATION EMPHASIZING PICTURES

Responsibility: GLENN GRUBE

 

  • PLAN DEVELOPMENT/TRAINING OF DONOR SOLICITATION TEAMS

      Responsibility: J GANCI

 

NEAR FUTURE

 

  • SELECT GRANT WRITER(S)
  • ESTABLISH ENDOWMENT AND SPECIAL GIFT PROCEDURES
  • PLAN SEAT SALES – 2,000 @ $1,000.00 EACH
  • KICK OFF 2006 SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP DRIVE. The goal for 2006 will be an additional 2,006 Supporting Members at $20.00 per person.
